Team news
Manuel Pellegrini has been boosted by the news that Marko Arnautovic will be available for the visit of Wolves. The Hammers forward was withdrawn during last weekend's defeat at Arsenal after suffering a knock, but has been fit enough to train this week and will be in the squad for Saturday.
The squad have no new injuries ahead of the game, so only Andy Carroll (ankle), Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini (both knee) are unavailable.
The likes of Aaron Cresswell and Andriy Yarmolenko had their first starts of the campaign in the midweek Carabao Cup victory over AFC Wimbledon and will be hoping to force their way in the the eleven for Saturday.
Meanwhile, Wolves' only injury absentee is winger Ivan Cavaleiro, who has a back problem.
Full-back Jonny limped off during last weekend's draw against Manchester City, but was back in the squad for their midweek cup win against Sheffield Wednesday.
Their manager Nuno Espirito Santo could well go with the same XI which held Pep Guardiola's men.
Meet the Opposition
Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in the Premier League for the first time in six years this season, but they have their sights set on more than just mere survival.
Nuno's team romped to the Championship title last term, playing a brand of attractive football which yielded 82 goals and a formidable 99 points.
With a band of exciting Portuguese talent to the fore, no team could match the Midlanders last term and they finished eleven points clear of third-placed Fulham.
21-year-old Diogo Jota top scored with 18 goals, while his countrymen Ruben Neves caught the eye in midfield with six goals - all of which came from outside the penalty area.
They have begun the 2018/19 campaign with home draws against Everton and Manchester City, while they were unfortunate to lose at Leicester City in between, so the Hammers know to expect a stern test at London Stadium on Saturday.
Last time out
The Hammers last faced Wolves in an FA Cup third round tie in January 2016, winning 1-0 at the Boleyn Ground thanks to Nikica Jelavic's late winner.
Wolves, then a Championship side, looked set to take the tie to a Molineux replay until Jelavic's late intervention - with the Hammers going on to reach the quarter-finals of that season's competition.
The teams have met 61 times in all competitions, with the Hammers winning 29 times and Wolves 18, while there have been 14 draws.

Services to the stations serving London Stadium - Stratford, Stratford International, Pudding Mill Lane and Hackney Wick - are scheduled to run as normal on Saturday.
Matchday Information
We advise supporters to arrive at least an hour before the match to give enough time to get through the bag searches before you get to the turnstiles. Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off, with early bird food and drink offers available up until an hour before kick-off.
Please only enter the stadium via the turnstile marked on the back of your Season Ticket access card, match ticket, or on your confirmation email if your ticket is on your Member card. You won’t be able to enter via another turnstile.
Searches will continue to take place on the bridges before the stadium island.

Supporters using Stratford regional station after the conclusion of the match, please be aware that access to the station will be exclusively via the Northern Ticket Hall on Monfitchet Road, directly opposite the entrance to Westfield Shopping Centre, instead of using the bridge to the south of the station.
